Copyright & DMCA
GoldVoltron respects intellectual-property rights and provides a direct process for reporting material on GoldVoltron.com that you believe infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce.
Policy Details
GoldVoltron Copyright
Unless otherwise identified, original content published on GoldVoltron.com is protected by copyright. Protected material may include musical compositions, beats, sound recordings, artwork, graphics, photography, video, written content, original interface elements, software, browser tools, downloadable resources, and original archive organization or annotation.
Making material publicly viewable or downloadable does not place it in the public domain and does not transfer copyright ownership.
Music Licensing
Permission to listen to, practice with, or download a GoldVoltron beat does not necessarily include permission to commercially release, monetize, distribute, synchronize, sublicense, sell, or otherwise commercially exploit that music.
Use of GoldVoltron musical works is governed by the separate Beat Usage & Terms.
Historical Archive Material
GoldVoltron.com includes historical archives containing materials from earlier creative projects, websites, products, publications, and cultural activity. Some archive material may contain names, photographs, artwork, logos, trademarks, screenshots, documents, or other material associated with third parties.
Where third-party material appears, ownership remains with the applicable rights holder. Historical inclusion is not intended to claim ownership of third-party intellectual property and does not imply current sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe material appearing on GoldVoltron.com infringes a copyright that you own or are authorized to enforce, send a copyright notice to the contact address shown below. To help evaluate the request, identify the copyrighted work, the material you believe is infringing, the specific Site URL or location, your contact information, and the basis for your claim.
DMCA-Style Notice Elements
If you intend a notice to satisfy the requirements commonly associated with 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), it should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it.
- Information reasonably sufficient to contact the complaining party.
- A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- A physical or electronic signature of the authorized person.
Use the subject line Copyright Notice.
Review of Notices
GoldVoltron may review a copyright complaint and take action where appropriate. Depending on the circumstances, that may include requesting more information, temporarily restricting access, removing material, correcting attribution, contacting the source of the material, or declining a request where sufficient grounds for action have not been established.
Submitting a complaint does not automatically guarantee removal.
Counter-Notices
If material is removed in response to a copyright complaint and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may contact GoldVoltron with information supporting your position.
A formal counter-notification under applicable law can carry legal consequences and may require specific statements concerning good-faith belief, jurisdiction, service of process, contact information, and signature. Consider obtaining qualified legal advice before submitting a formal statutory notice or counter-notice.
Misrepresentations
Copyright notices should be submitted in good faith. Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a copyright complaint or counter-notice may create liability under applicable law.
Repeat Infringement & Site Protection
Where appropriate to the services offered, GoldVoltron may restrict access by parties who repeatedly use the Site in violation of copyright law or who misuse copyright-reporting processes.
No Waiver of Rights
Failure to immediately enforce a copyright or other intellectual-property right does not constitute a waiver of that right. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
